There are strict rules about solicitors advertising for personal injury claims, including “no win no fee” arrangements.  The Legal Services Commission is responsible for compliance and has issued guidelines.

There are also rules against “ambulance chasing” or touting for these claims.

In “no win no fee” personal injury cases there is a 50% limit on what a solicitor can charge.
