Duties to other Lawyers and their Clients

[When acting for a client, a solicitor should not communicate directly with another party who is represented by another lawyer, even if the other party initiates the contact. All communication should be through the other party’s lawyer.  There are exceptions to this “no contact” rule.
Solicitors may provide a second opinion to the client of another lawyer.
